1. Scope
We provide chimney cleaning, inspections, and repairs in Canada. Work orders define specifics, pricing, and scheduling.
2. Customer responsibilities
- Ensure safe access to appliance and roof, where applicable
- Confirm fires are out for at least 48 hours before a sweep
- Disclose known defects and previous incidents
3. Liability
We carry insurance appropriate to the work performed. We are not liable for pre-existing defects or code violations.
4. Payments & cancellations
Payment due on completion unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province where the service is performed and applicable Canadian laws.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with or misuse safety equipment or tools
- Do not request work that contravenes local building or fire codes
- Provide accurate contact and access information for scheduled visits
7. Service limitations
Service may be postponed in unsafe conditions including severe weather, structural instability, or presence of hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, wildlife). We will reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity.
